Ark foundation @ 25


For the past 25 years, the Ark Foundation, has remained committed to its drive to provide compassionate care and empowering spaces for vulnerable individuals, especially women and children. The organisation is celebrating its silver jubilee today, 21st March, 2024 at the UPSA West Wing Auditorium.

The anniversary event, titled “Women Speak Leadership: The Power of One,” has under one awning, distinguished women leaders from across the country to share their insights and experiences.

Among the notable speakers are Jean Mensa, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission; Kosi Yankey Ayeh, CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEA); Mary Addah, Executive Director of the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII); Maame Tiwaa Addo-Dankwa, Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO); and Kathleen Addy, Chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).

The foundation’s mission aims to provide support and protection for those facing abuse and distress.

Rev. Mrs. Juliet Leah Botchway, Chair of the anniversary, acknowledged the organization’s unwavering commitment to its cause.

Addressing attendees, Rev. Mrs. Botchway highlighted the significance of the foundation’s work in empowering individuals and communities. “It is the guiding force that propels us to go forward. It is evident that this foundation has been successful from unwavering commitment. As we celebrate this milestone, let us reaffirm our values towards leadership,” she remarked.
