Asante Kotoko Eye Victory Against Legon Cities in Crucial Ghana Premier League Clash

Asante Kotoko will host Legon Cities in match day 29 of the Ghana Premier at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors narrowly defeated league leaders Samartex and managed a draw against reigning champions Medeama during their visit to Tarkwa.

With these recent performances, they’ll be seeking another triumph as they host Legon Cities.

Since May 2021, Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities have faced each other six times. Kotoko emerged victorious thrice, with two matches ending in draws, while Legon Cities managed one win.

With six games left to the end the season, Kotoko are on 37 points and sit 11th on the league log with just a point separating their opponents and two points ahead of their city rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
