Celebrities should Support Clean Environment Initiative – Buz Stop Boys

Founder of the Buz Stop Boys, Kodwo Safo says Ghanaian celebrities must throw their weight behind initiatives aimed at keeping the environment clean emphasising the crucial role a clean environment plays in the entertainment industry. He says shows cannot be held in polluted surroundings.

Speaking to RGGNEWS, he highlighted the relationship between celebrities and the nation, stressing that it is Ghana that elevates their relevance.
He urged celebrities not only to provide material support but also to actively encourage their fans to protect the environment.

The plea from the Buz Stop Boys comes in the wake of a donation of 30,000 cedis from Ghanaian Music Artiste Shatta Wale to support their cause.
He expressed gratitude for Shatta Wale’s contribution, stating the significance of such support in advancing their voluntary efforts towards promoting sustainable development.

Moreover, the founder revealed that a portion had been allocated towards the purchase of an excavator worth 100,000 cedis, essential for their ongoing work.
