Copper Queens vs. Black Queens: Ghana Aims for Redemption in Crucial Olympic Qualifier

The Copper Queens of Zambia will host the Black Queens of Ghana in a return fixture today at the Levy Mwanawasa Sports Stadium in Ndola.

The Black Queens lost narrowly by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Addressing the nation yesterday, the President wished the team the best of luck as they prepare for the task ahead.

“Mr. Speaker, the senior women’s team, even though they lost narrowly to Zambia in the first leg of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games, let us wish them well in the second leg to be played in Lusaka tomorrow, and hope they give us something to cheer about.”

Meanwhile, head coach Nora Häuptle believes the Queens can turn around the score with their game plan going into the crucial game.
