GRIDCo issues apology for power disruptions in Western Accra, Winneba, and Takoradi

Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo ) extends its apology to consumers in the western part of Accra, Winneba, and Takoradi following power cuts on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

The company attributes the incident to faulty equipment at the Mallam substation.

In a statement, GRIDCo is assuring that the malfunctioning equipment has been isolated and is currently under repair.

While power has been restored to most affected areas, the company is addressing remaining areas without power, working to rectify all equipment issues.
