The recent internet outage has significantly impacted academic activities at the University of Ghana, with both staff and students facing difficulties in completing their tasks.

Dennis, a staff member at the university of Ghana, lay emphasis on the difficulties faced by faculties in completing their responsibilities.

He pointed up the substantial backlog of work accumulating due to the disruption and was hopeful for a prompt resolution.

Dennis stated the critical need for reliable internet connectivity to facilitate collaboration with partners on ongoing projects.

Johnson, a first-year student at the university of Ghana, expressed frustration at being unable to access learning materials uploaded on the Sakai platform, a vital resource for students.

Similarly, Anita, another first-year student, was not happy with her inability to take an Interim Assessment due to the outage’s impact on her access to the Sakai platform.

She also noted the challenge of being unable to use social media platforms to access relevant information shared within class groups.

The interruption has underscored the essential role of internet connectivity in facilitating academic activities, with both staff and students eagerly awaiting a resolution to resume normal operations.
