UniMAC’s Department of Integrated Social Science to Host Inaugural Ghana Month Celebration Tomorrow.

The Department of Integrated Social Sciences (DISS) under the University of Arts Media and Communication(UniMAC) in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority is set to hold its maiden Ghana Month event on March 20, 2024, with the theme “Unity in Culture Diversity: A Critical Tool for Ghana’s Development”.

This activity is to display Ghana’s rich culture and also help students studying Anthropology appreciate the need for a country to preserve its cultural values.

In attendance will be the acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Eric Opoku Mensah, all heads of departments, and a host of others.

In an interview with RGG NEWS, the organizers of the program say they are of the view that this initiative will help students within the Anthropology unit understand the need for culture preservation and also broaden their horizon as they study their course.

They added that there will be lots of Ghanaian cuisine and a rich cultural display and therefore students should make it a point to attend.

The event is slated for 10 am at Unimac-IJ Auditorium.
