Ga Mashie Derby ends in a goalless draw

In the sweltering heat of the Accra Sports Stadium, a titanic clash unfolded between the resilient Hearts of Oak and the formidable Great Olympics.

With relegation knocking on the doors of both teams Hearts, the Phobians, entered the match eager to extend their dominance over their bitter rivals.

Olympics, however, were not to be outdone. Their compact and well-organized defense, marshalled by the experienced Gladson Awako, stood firm against Hearts’ relentless attacks.

As the match progressed, the tempo increased. Hearts and Olympics traded dangerous crosses and shots, but the goalkeepers remained unyielding.

With time running out, both teams threw caution to the wind.

In the end, as the referee blew the final whistle, the scoreboard read 0-0. Hearts are on 14th with 42 points while the Wonder Club are 16th with 41 points.
