Ghana’s Economy will be the most business friendly in Africa – Akufo-Addo


The President, Nana Akufo-Addo says it is his desire to transform the nation into the most business-friendly economy on the African continent.

Speaking from the Jubilee House as he welcomed Italy’s extended President Sergio Mattarella, President Akufo-Addo highlighted the strides made in navigating the challenges of the past two years.

“Our country, as a result of tough-minded policies, has turned the corner in its attempts to restore growth and engender macroeconomic stability,” President Akufo-Addo stated.

He says the visit by President Mattarella underscores the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between Ghana and Italy.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening ties and exploring further areas of mutual interest for the benefit of both nations.

Moreover, President Akufo-Addo assured President Mattarella of Ghana’s dedication to collaborating with Italy on a range of contemporary challenges, including poverty eradication, combating irregular migration, addressing security concerns, and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
