I carried out the reshuffle with Ghanaians in mind – Prez Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has responded to concerns about his recent ministerial reshuffle, stating that the decision was taken in the best interest of Ghanaian citizens and not his personal preferences.
Speaking to JoyNews’ Foreign Affairs Correspondent, Blessed Sogah, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, he stated the importance of prioritizing the welfare of Ghanaians in all government decisions. He stated, “It is for the people of Ghana, not for me.”
At the 37th Ordinary Session of the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government, President Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to maintain faith in the country’s democratic journey. As Ghana prepares to elect its next leader later this year, he stressed the significance of upholding democratic principles. Encouraging active citizen participation, he emphasized the responsibility of every Ghanaian to exercise their right to vote responsibly.
