Include Ghanaian football legends in Black Stars Coaching team- Charles Taylor

Former Black Stars player, Charles Taylor is suggesting that the coaching team for the Black Stars should include Ghanaian football legends in the persons of Michael Essien, Laryea Kingston, Stephen Appiah, among others.

In an interview on Angel TV, Charles Taylor says it is important to have a capable coach to lead the team. He believes what matters to Ghanaians is a coach who can improve the team’s performance.
The unoccupied coaching position has generated a lot of interest, with many calling for the appointment of a former player to oversee the team.
The ex-Hearts of Oak forward has his doubts about the ability of a local coach to handle the Black Stars, stating that the job requires someone who is strong and dedicated. “No local coach can handle the team but some people can help us,” he stated.
“If the likes of Michael Essien, Laryea Kingston and Stephen Appiah have the wherewithal to lead the team then they should be given the job. They are the guys who can handle the team. If we appoint these guys, you will see an improvement in Ghana football,” Mr. Taylor emphasised.
