It is a sham report – Dennis Miracles Aboagye on Scholarship Bonanza

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the 2024 Bawumia campaign team has described an investigative report conducted by the 4th Estate, which exposed discrepancies in the allocation and status of beneficiaries of government scholarships as a sham.

In a Facebook post, Miracles explained that it is a deceit to make an impression that scholarships are for ‘only the poor’.

He added that a scholarship is for the poor who cannot afford and the not-so-poor who need value addition.

“The 1st point of deceit is the impression that scholarship is for “only the poor”. A Scholarship is for the poor who cannot afford and the not-so-poor who need value addition. #ShamReport”, he posted.

Conversations surrounding nepotism at the Scholarship Secretariat resuscitated after an investigative piece by the Fourth Estate.
