La Hospital to be completed in June 2026 – Akufo-Addo.

President Nana Akufo-Addo says the reconstruction and completion of the La Hospital will be completed in twenty-eight (28) months.

According to him, funds have been secured for the project, which took off in January 2024.

As part of his state of the nation address, he said the project involves a fully functional modern hospital, with the necessary equipment for diagnosis and treatment.

Moreover, the President said, “The contractor has been paid an advance mobilization of fifteen percent (15%), representing some seven-point-five million dollars (US$7.5 million), and work has begun.”

President Nana Akufo-Addo further announced the reconstruction of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Maternity Block in Kumasi.
