Let us remain focused as Ghana Prepares for the 13th African Games- Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has called on all stakeholders involved in the organization of the 13th African Games to ensure a problem-free tournament.

The 13th African Games is scheduled to start on March 08 and end on March 23.

The newly opened sports stadium will be the center of attraction for the track and field disciplines during the games.

According to the LOC Chair, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu Asare,” we have completed all facilities. Legon is the hub of the games where events such as Athletics, Rugby, etc will take place”.

Adding that, the Legon Sports Stadium, along with adjacent facilities, will play a pivotal role in hosting various sporting disciplines during the 13th African Games.

President Akufo-Addo about two weeks ago, inaugurated the Borteyman Sports Complex which is also one of the venues to host the games.
