Olympics stuns Kotoko in Kumasi

Accra Great Olympics have defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko by 1-0 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The Porcupines had to play away from home following the ongoing preparations of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium ahead of the Black Stars World Cup qualifiers.

Kotoko went into this game on the back of an impressive 2-0 win over Hearts of Oak, while the Dade boys claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win over Berekum Chelsea.

Olympics are still trying to find their feet as relegation knocks on their doors with 39 points on sixteenth position.

Kotoko on the other hand was hoping to move up the table but were stunned as they also sit 10th on the league log with 43 points just two points adrift Accra Hearts of Oak.
