Public Figures Converge to Support Afua Asantewaa


As she crosses into the final day of her quest to break into the Guinness World Record book, Afua Asantewaa Aduonom remains unwavering. She is determined to be on record for singing for the longest hours in the world. Support from her backyard, Ghana is tremendous, and this includes some prominent Ghanaians.

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited Afua Asantewaa during the Christmas festivities to cheer her on to set a new record.

Ghana’s renowned rapper Sarkodie also visited her and sang with her on stage.
Dancehall artiste and socialite Shatta Wale similarly visited Afua Asantewaa to cheer her on and most importantly shared a word of prayer with her.

That notwithstanding other celebrities like John Dumelo, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Akumah Mama Zimbi, Asamoah Gyan, OB Amponsah, Kwabena Kwabena, Cina Soul, Anita Akuffo, DKB, Clemento Suarez, Lawyer Nti, Becca, and the Dance with purpose (DWP) Academy.
The presence of these prominent Ghanaians signifies the unity in the country for one of our own and the approach to promote a fellow Ghanaian seeking to achieve bragging rights and recognition for herself and the nation.
