Samartex will taste first defeat in Domaa – Evans Oppong

The Public Relations Officer for Aduana SC Evans Oppong is optimistic of victory today as they host Samartex 1996 at the Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa.

The “Ogya Boys” are yet to record their first win over Samartex since they got promoted to the top-flight league. Both teams have met on three occasions with Samartex winning two games with one ending in a stalemate.

Aduana will be missing the services of their talisman Isaac Mintah and sources close to RGG NEWS can confirm he is on trial with Libyan side Al Ahly FC in Tripoli.

Speaking to RGG NEWS, Evans Oppong believes his absence won’t be felt that much since they have more arsenals to replace the centre-forward.

Adding that, “the vacant position is to motivate the players to take the mantle and forge on”.

A victory for the “Ogya Boys” will see them move above their competitors.

Samartex is currently leading the chart with 32 points after 17 games played.
