Chelsea Rises from the Tomb to beat United 4:3 at Stamford Bridge

The blues whitewashed Manchester United by 4-3 despite having previously given up a two-goal lead.

Cole Palmer scored twice after the 100-minute mark to complete his hat-trick of the night.

Palmer’s hat-trick brings his goal tally to 16 in the league.

Since signing for Chelsea in the summer for a fee of £42.5m, the 21 year old has been the standout player in an inconsistent season for Chelsea and their young squad.

Having made his England debut in November and been included in the most recent squad, he is more likely to be included by Gareth Southgate for Euro 2024 this summer.

The 7 goal thriller and defeat leaves Eric Ten Hag’s men 11 points away from an unlikely Champions League place.

United will host league leaders Liverpool on Sunday at Old Trafford.
