Completion of the lake Road project

The Ministry of Roads and Highways says the Lake Road project in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, is completed.

Commencing after the President’s 2018 visit to Kumasi, the project encompasses a 2.73km dual carriage road from Coca Cola Bottling Company to Dompoase Junction, the establishment of a new bus terminal at Chirapatre, and the installation of streetlights.

Ahinsan, Atonso, Bokro, and Chirapatre are some of the communities that have benefited from the project along the stretch.

The project has immensely facilitated mobility and accessibility through the reduction of travel time on the stretch.
