The Ghana Private Road Transport Union has announced a 20 percent fare increase due to the rise in fuel prices.
The fare adjustment is scheduled to take effect on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
However, in an interview with RGGNEWS, David Agboado, PRO of the Concerned Drivers Association, clarified that while the actual implementation day is Thursday, to respect Muslim observances, the Concerned Drivers Association will commence the fare increase on Saturday.
Nevertheless, he mentioned that other associations may proceed with their fare adjustments on Thursday
