Ministry of Health Denies Nursing Recruitment Announcement

The Ministry of Health (MoH) is drawing attention to false reports circulating in the media about the recruitment of general nursing applicants.

In a statement, the MoH’s Public Relations Unit on Monday, March 11, was emphatic that no such announcement has been made by the ministry.

The MoH stated that it did not issue any public announcement which went viral on 10th March, 2024 and advised the public to ignore the false information.

Moreover, the Ministry clarified that it does not require any fees for the recruitment and placement of health workers.

Prospective applicants were cautioned against making any payments to individuals or groups claiming to facilitate the recruitment process.

Additionally, the MoH stated that it is actively working to recruit more general nurses and other health workers to enhance the healthcare sector.
