TotalEnergies AFCON 2023: La Côte d’Ivoire.


The TotalEnergies AFCON 2024 is being hosted in la Côte d’Ivoire this year.
The opening AFCON match comes off on Saturday January 13, 2024 between the host nation la Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau at 20:00 hours GMT at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
The Ivorian national team is currently headed by Jean-Louis Gasset as head coach of the team. La Côte d’Ivoire is registered as AFCON champions in the years 1992 and 2015.
A squad, which includes players such as Nicolas Pépé (Trabzonspor), Sébastien Haller (Borussia Dortmund), Franck Kessié (Al Ahli), Serge Aurier (Nottingham Forest), and the young Odilon Kossounou (Bayer Leverkusen), is determined to achieve greatness while playing on their own turf.
