Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and Airport Company Safety Week 2023

From the 5th to the 8th December, 2023, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the Ghana Airport Company will hold a joint safety and environment week 2023 in Accra.

The launch of the week has taken place to draw attention of players in the aviation industry to the importance of committing to safety at all times.

They say, in the aviation industry, safety isn’t just a checklist or a set of procedures rather, a mind-set and a way of life. It’s about every action, decision, moment of vigilance that ensures each flight takes off and lands safely. And in fostering a just culture, players acknowledge that the industry’s commitment to safety is not just about rules and protocols, rather about the people who implement them.

At the aviation industry’s 2023 safety week, resource persons touched on the fact that even though errors may occur, it’s the responsibility of industry players to report, learn and improve.

The aviation industry says, dedication to safety is not just for the week but a commitment to renew each day’s flight for passengers who trust the industry to safely arrive at their destination.
